HVAC systems are smart systems that implement cooling, or heating, in accordance to your desired set temperature and maintains it in every season – when the set temperature is reached, non-inverter systems will automatically power off causing the temperature to rise.

When the set temperature is reached again, the unit will re-operate to condition the air. The Daikin Fit system is an Inverter unit which runs continuously but adjusts the compressor’s speed to meet the demand. Because it maintains the temperature consistently, your home will no longer feel too hot or too cold.

By continuously running at low energy conserving levels, the air is consistently filtered, the Daikin Fit system will help drastically improve your comfort level by controlling humidity, as the air passes through the coil, it removes moisture and keeps you (and your home) from feeling muggy.Undesirable operational sounds often accompany non-inverter systems, especially in start-up operation. Compressors are the heart of your heating and cooling systems. Daikin One+

The Daikin One+ smart thermostat is an intelligent home air controller from the world’s leading heating, ventilating, and air conditioning (HVAC) manufacturer. It is a cloud-connected hub of sophistication, integrated for controlling temperature, humidity, and air quality.

The Daikin One+ smart thermostat supports casual temperature adjustment, automatic settings changes driven by an easyto-program schedule, and an energy savings mode invoked manually or by geo-fencing on a mobile app. (The app recognizes when everyone is away and changes settings to reduce energy use.) This professional smart thermostat goes further to include humidity controls1 (both adding moisture and removing it) and air quality monitoring.

Traditional consumer smart thermostats are limited in another important way, too. At heart, they are little more than automatic switches, relying on 24-volt wires to send on/off signals. They have no way of sending more sophisticated control messages. And most are unable to receive messages from HVAC equipment. In contrast, the Daikin One+ smart thermostat is designed specially to communicate with Daikin equipment, both sending and receiving messages using sophisticated communications protocols.

Daikin One Home Air Monitor

The Daikin One Home Air Monitor helps monitor the air quality within the whole home. Working with the Daikin One ecosystem1, it detects, visualizes, and supports action to help you improve the indoor air quality within your space. Available for select systems2, the Daikin One Home Air Monitor will monitor and learn baseline air quality in the home, over 7 days, then provide a rolling 7-day average baseline. When potential particulate and/or chemical events occur outside of this average baseline, the system will detect the potential deviation and send alerts to the Daikin One+ smart thermostat.

From the Daikin One+ smart thermostat, visualize the estimated air quality in real-time directly on the thermostat or through the smartphone app.
